SPECIAL SESSION FOR COP27 DEVELOPING MESSAGES

Organization for Economic Development leadingone of the special sessions for developing messages that will be discussed at side events organized during the upcoming COP 27 in Egypt. The special session was during the Global Workshop on Water, Agriculture and Climate Change co-organized by Water Convention/ Protocol on Water & Health, FAO, Adaptation Fund, Federal Office for the Environment FOEN and Ministerie van Infrastructure en Waterstaat International Water Management Institute and International Water Management Institute (IWMI) was held in Geneva , Switzerland on 17 and 18 October. The United Nations Climate Change Conference, more commonly referred to as COP27 (Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC), will be the 27th United Nations Climate Change conference, to be held from 6 to 18 November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. It will take place under the presidency of Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry, with more than 90 heads of state and representatives of 190 countries expected to attend.
